Robl Construction began in 1978 when Steve and Vera Robl founded and ran the business out of their Wichita home. After more than 25 years in the Wichita community, the company has grown into one of the most sought after home builders in the area. The key to Robl Construction's success is bringing value to the customer through excellence in the home building process.

That success is supported by the company's in-house design team. Designers work with customers to create the home that will fulfill their needs and desires along with innovative designs. Many Robl customers are repeat buyers, which is an indication of the high level of customer satisfaction Robl strives for on every project. Mike Drumright grew up in Valley Center, Kansas, a small bedroom community northwest of Wichita. He attended Valley Center schools, played baseball and attended Wichita State University on a baseball scholarship. Mike graduated with a BS in Liberal Arts, but followed his love for baseball playing professional ball for nine years. He played for Detroit, Florida, Boston, and Baltimore.

Upon retiring from his professional baseball career and returning to Wichita, he invested with a contractor to have a duplex project built. Mike realized that the project was not going too well and had to take over the job. He learned many invaluable lessons from his first business venture, mostly from the side of the homeowner. He also realized that he enjoyed construction and decided start a home building business based on honesty, respect, and doing right by the customer.

After running his own home building business for several years, Mike had the opportunity to combine resources and experience with a local residential builder, Wink Hartman. Having been in residential construction for 10 years, Wink was looking to get out of the residential side and concentrate his experience solely on commercial building. The timing was right and INK-drumright builders LLC became reality. Mike is the sole owner of INK-drumright, while Wink serves as an experienced coach and mentor.

INK-drumright builders LLC is currently building in east Wichita, Valley Center, and Derby. Watercress will be a uniquely beautiful neighborhood and Mike is extremely proud to be a part of the excitement. Mike is a member of the Wichita Area Builders Association.

He is married to Robyn and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Delaney and Aubrey.
